Triple Flip believes in having a fun and active lifestyle, where girls can be real girls. That means our clothes have to play as hard as girls do, and be as much fun to wear as the girls who wear them. They have to feel just as good when you are moving, as when it's time to relax.
Flipwear designs are all created with real girls in mind. We use active girls as sizing models, so that the clothes have a better chance of fitting when they are worn on actual bodies. For the smaller sizes, we don't simply downsize an adult cut - we design it specifically for a younger body. Flipwear design and production reflects the feedback we get from our customers. We take extra steps in the design details, such as making the sleeves a little longer, or giving you the option of a few versatile accessory pieces, like our hip bands, so that you can squeeze that extra bit of wear out of each piece you own. We are continually innovating to improve the fit and design of our clothes, and researching new trends in active clothing, loungewear and streetwear to give you the fashion edge.
We are proud that Flipwear is designed in Calgary and manufactured entirely in North America. By producing locally, we are able to better control our quality, design, and response time to our customers. It also enables us to create some very unique styles in smaller quantities, so that you don't feel like you're wearing the same piece that a hundred other people are.
One of our ongoing tasks is to search out the best quality fabrics - ones that can withstand the rigors of girl living.
For our stretchwear, we choose high performance technical fabrics, used by some of the leading fitness companies in the world, so your clothes will hold their great shape and vibrant color through repeated washings. The fabric is breathable and wicks away moisture when you sweat or run through puddles. It's also totally resistant to odor, wind and stains - for those seriously messy kinda days.
The Lycra content ensures a super fit and great freedom of movement. Like any garment with Lycra, we always recommend cold water wash and hang to dry. Using a dryer will decrease the life of the stretch, just like it would for your favorite swimsuit. Besides, it dries in a flash, faster than cotton by a whopping 56 minutes!
For our loungewear and hoodies, we use the most unbelievably cozy flannels, stretch cottons, and velours that when we felt them, they absolutely made us melt. They're so soft, you may not ever want to take them off.
We put a lot of thought into the construction of our clothes to make them the most comfortable thing you own. Things like our care labels... they're either put right onto the fabric with a heat transfer, or they are tear-outs, which are meant to be removed before wearing, so that you have nothing scratchy or uncomfortable ever standing between you and your flipwear.
Even our garment seams, wherever possible, are designed to use flatlock stitching, which means there are no seams that rub and irritate sensitive skin. And because we design and manufacture locally, we listen and respond quickly to our customers, and try to develop the special features that you look for in clothes.
